I was made to cry in my first internship because I wasn’t from a top-tier institution. I was discriminated against by my bosses. Those moments were catalysts. They drove me to imagine a world where women didn’t just participate in STEM—they led it.
Formerly known as Girls in Tech Foundation, SheBuildsTech (Indi Ativa Foundation) was established to bridge the gap. While STEM education is increasing, women’s workforce participation remains at a low 12.7%.
