Indi Ativa Foundation — formerly Girls in Tech Foundation, India
In 2015, no institutional platform in India existed to bring STEAM and entrepreneurship to women in rural and Tier 2–4 cities — the geographies where access, exposure, and confidence gaps ran deepest. Sree Divya built one.
Approach
End-to-end institution-building: project roadmaps, curriculum, stakeholder mapping, and partnerships forged across the U.S. State Department, UNDP, Microsoft, IBM, AICTE, and Indian state governments — run on the ground through ideathons, hackathons, bootcamps, mentorship, and return-to-work programmes.

Fifteen-plus organisations — nonprofits, social ventures, member communities, and mission-led platforms in India and abroad — advised on fundraising strategy, donor positioning, and institutional documentation: strategic narrative, partnership positioning, annual reports, whitepapers, proposal strategy, and end-to-end fundraising-cycle support.
HNI ecosystem & chapter development
Rebuilt anchor chapters for a premium leadership network across South India. In Bangalore, built a pipeline of 40+ high-net-worth prospects and converted nine to confirmed premium memberships, with three in advanced-stage onboarding. In Vizag, rebuilt trust in a lapsed market and secured 15+ confirmations — including HNIs new to this kind of platform.
Strategic partnerships & institutional intelligence
Built the "Source of Truth" architecture for a national digital-inclusion non-profit — partner mapping, thematic frameworks, and founder positioning assets — and prepared global-standard proposals, including a submission to the United Nations.
Podcast & public affairs — the STARTFACTOR Project
Founded and led a public affairs podcast on women in STEM in India, connecting listeners to real stories, issues, and role models. Guests have included the Obama Foundation, U.S. Congresswomen Elizabeth Esty and Suzan DelBene, Padma Shri awardees, and scientists from across the globe.
